Thoughts? Will we see a lot out of him this season? Thought it was strange when I started seeing him a good bit on the ice in the game, unless I've missed out on some big news about him.

The initial Thrashers roster on NHL 09 only has six D men: Havelid, Enstrom, Klee, X, Hainsey, and Denny. WTF is with Denny being on there? No Bogosian (I understand), but also no Valabik (don't understand).

Oh, and no Bryan Little for that matter.

The first game I played had Denny and X paired together, and they got manhandled by Eric Staal. I'm hoping for a roster update, both in the game and in real life.

Thats odd; Denny isn't even on the 2k9 roster.

Given that Denny started last season in the ECHL, it would not be realistic to expect him to make the Thrashers. ECHL skaters (not goalies, but forwards and d-men) rarely make the NHL. Maybe 1 skater on a team will make the NHL eventually. He has a chance I think, just not this year. My best guess is that Klee or Exelby will be the 7th defenseman this year unless Bogosian just gets overwhelmed and has to be returned to the OHL while he still can be (I don't remember the exact number, but he can only play something like 10 games and after that if he plays more he must stay in the NHL all year). I suspect that Kulda is more NHL ready at this time than Denny and I don't expect him to make the Thrashers either.

When I used to play NHL 04 religiously, Derek Mackenzie used to be on one of the top lines with Shawn McEachern......

Look for one to come out soon after the season starts. Once everybody plays a few games, EA Sports can add/create them and make necessary roster changes. Or you could download some rosters online made by someone else. That's what I used to do for their NCAA Football game.

I was playing SIM CITY 2K9 and I built this 140 story office building in my fictional Atlanta . . . and then I drove in the real downtown Atlanta and saw all these construction cranes . .. . coincidence???
